Salvation Isn't Just For Heaven!

     Where will you spend eternity?  What do you do when no one has answers?  These are the most important questions you will ever ask yourself. Have you settled where you will spend eternity? If you find that the world simply doesn't hold the answers you have been seeking, perhaps it's time to go to the source of all answers, to the Creator. He has been waiting for you all this time, he has a purpose for you, and he loves you more than mere words can describe.
     In John 3:16 he gave you this hope: "For God so loved the world, (that includes you) that he gave his only begotten Son (that's Jesus), that whosoever (that's you again) believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". God never intended for man to spend an eternity in hell, hell was designed for the adversary (that's satan, Lucifer, the devil) and his angels. God created a perfect world for man, Adam. Then the adversary came and enticed man to rebel against his Father God. In rebelling, man gave up his dominion of earth. But God had a plan to rescue his children, (that's you again) and that plan was Jesus. Jesus was God's representative come in the flesh,  and he would pay the price to ransom mankind and all of creation. Jesus laid down his deity and took on the form of man. He was born, lived and died as a man, he gave his pure and holy blood for you, and because of his obedience to God he was resurrected and lives today. The bible says that "He ever lives to intercede for us". He is interceding for you at this very second. Now is the time for salvation, don't wait a moment longer. You were never intended to be locked up with satan, you were created to live forever with God through Jesus his Anointed Son. You can become a son of the most high God. Once again we will refer to the bible. "That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus , and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation". Romans 10:9-10 
     Say this prayer out loud, make your confession of faith, and then tell someone what you've just done! 
     Dear God, I look at myself, at my soul and know that I am not without sin. Please forgive me of the sin in my life, I confess my sin out loud, and I confess that Jesus is Lord. I believe in my heart that Jesus paid the price for my sins and that You raised him from the dead. I want and need to be saved. I turn from the world and all that it has offered before and I turn towards you God and ask you to be my Father. I ask and receive righteousness , right standing with you. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, and anoint me and prepare me to do your will.  I will make your word my will as I now delight to do your will.  I thank you for accepting me as your child in Jesus's name.  Amen .
      Welcome! You are now part of the family of God. You need to find a place where you can learn more about your new family. You need to find a place where they teach and live the uncompromising word of God. You need to read the bible everyday; it is food for your spiritual man.    Once again, welcome to the family of God, we will be praying for you.  Life in the kingdom is not without struggles, but it will yield the peaceable fruit of righteousness.  If God be for you who can be against you?
     Salvation isn't just for heaven.  You may need saved from the situation you are living in today.  If you are dependent upon drugs, alcohol, have financial needs, need healing in body, Jesus is your answer.  God had a plan for our needs before we were ever created.  He made a way of escape for us, it is to call upon His name.  His representative on this planet is Jesus and if you will call upon his name you can be saved and shown a way out of your hard place.  A little time in the bible each day (especially Proverbs) and you can find answers that the Father sent for us.  God has mercy for you today, but you need His wisdom everyday.  You feed your body everyday for physical strength, you feed your mind with mental food to keep it sharp, but you really need to feed your spirit with spiritual food to overcome the flesh and the world.  His word is life to those who find it (and find Jesus) and health or medicine to all their flesh.  (Proverbs 4)  Let His word be life to you.
